Kamloops, BC – It’s a battle of the top two teams in the league as the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack baseball team are taking on the Prairie Baseball Academy (PBA) Dawgs for four games at home (Norbrock Stadium) this weekend starting Friday (April 8th) night.

First pitch for the Friday night game will be at 7:30pm. The two teams will also play a doubleheader Saturday (April 9th) night at 5pm and 7:30pm. The last game of the four game set will be Sunday (April 10th) at noon. All games are at Norbrock Stadium on MacArthur Island.

The WolfPack lost two games against PBA during opening weekend a couple weeks ago and they’re looking for some better success this time around. “I think the last time we beat ourselves more than PBA beat us,” says outfielder Isiah McDonald (Grand Forks), “I don’t think there are too many adjustments to make other than slowing the game down pitch by pitch and making all the routine plays. It should be an awesome weekend for ball.”

PBA is 6-2 to start the season, while the WolfPack are 5-3. The WolfPack are looking to continue to build off of their 3-1 record from last weekend and keep their winning streak (3) going.
