Thompson Rivers University WolfPack baseball team fell to the University of Calgary Dinos

Calgary, Alberta – In their 21st game of the season, the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack baseball team fell to the University of Calgary Dinos by a score of 14-13. The whole game was back and forth as the teams traded runs almost every inning.

Jesse Marks (Sarnia, Ontario) started on the mound for the ‘Pack. He threw six innings, allowing eight runs (two earned, six unearned) on nine hits. He walked one batter and hit two. Calgary native Logan Kandalaft threw 1/3 of an inning, allowing six runs (two earned, four unearned) on one hit, two walks and one hit batter. Bryant Jameus (Kamloops, BC) threw one and 2/3 innings, allowing only one hit and one walk.

Tony Tabor (White Rock, BC) was one of the many offensive leaders on the night, as he went 2-6 with three RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen base. Isiah McDonald (Grand Forks, BC) went 4-5 with a double, a RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base. Evan Douglas (White Rock, BC) went 2-5 with three RBIs and a run scored. Blayne Halland (Kamloops, BC) and Anthony Grouette (Calgary, Alberta) both went 3-5 with three runs scored each. Grouette also had two RBIs and two stolen bases while Halland had a stolen base.

Jayse Wilson (Strathmore, Alberta) went 2-4 with a RBI and a run scored.
