The Jr. Shamrocks came away with a second straight weekend split.  The Rocks lost at home 14-4 to the Coquitlam Adanacs but came back with a strong outing on the road Sunday to defeat the Burnaby Lakers 12-9.  Their record now stands at 2-2.  Leading the way in victory was Cole Pickup with 3 goals and 3 assists.  Colten Merilainen, Brock Thompson-Marshall and Brad McCulley each had a pair of goals with singles coming from Adam Jay and Steve Ackinclose.  Dallas Wade chipped in 3 assists and Mitch Gurney made 35 saves to get the win in goal.  Next up for the Jr. Shamrocks is a home game Saturday, May 14 against the New Westminster Salmonbellies.   Game time is 5:00 pm at the Q Centre.

The Intermediate Shamrocks are also in action at home on the 14th as they will take on the Delta Islanders in a 1:30 pm contest.
