After a slow start to the season, the Nanaimo Intermediate A Timbermen doubled their number of wins this weekend.  Nanaimo beat the New Westminster Salmon Bellies at Frank Crane Arena Saturday by a score of 21-8,then the Burnaby Lakers in Burnaby Sunday by a score of 18-6.  Nanaimo’s strong goaltending duo shared the duties for the T-men – Dakota Kasper was in net for the win over New Westminster and Will McLean faced Burnaby.

Nanaimo will bring this momentum into The Q Centre in Victoria for a much anticipated matchup against the Shamrocks this Tuesday at 7:00pm.  The Nanaimo Intermediate Timbermen are made up of players from up and down the Island, including seven players from Victoria.
