Victoria to play six exhibition games including home date on September 10th

Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals today announced their pre-season schedule in preparation for the 2016-17 Western Hockey League regular season.

The Royals will play a total of six exhibition games against teams from both the BC and US Divisions.

Victoria will open their pre-season in Kamloops on Friday, September 2nd with a 7:00 p.m. contest against the Blazers. The Royals will then travel to Kelowna to play the Rockets on Saturday, September 3rd at 7:05 p.m. Victoria will wrap up their road-trip on Sunday, September 4th with a 3:00 p.m. game against the Tri-City Americans in Everett, WA.

The Royals’ lone home contest of the pre-season is set for Saturday, September 10th when they host the Vancouver Giants. Puck drop is set for 2:00 p.m. at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Victoria will wrap-up their pre-season on the road with two games vs. the Vancouver Giants on Sunday, September 11th at 2:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 17th at 3:00 p.m.  Sunday’s contest is at the Ladner Leisure Centre, while Saturday’s game is scheduled to be played at the Langley Events Centre.
