June 25, 2016 Colwood, BC ( ISN ) Saturday night, local youth got the opportunity to be recognized and also show thier stuff in front of a packed house of Shamrocks Lacrosse fans at the Q- Centre during WLA game intermission. Members of the Penninsula Wildcats tykes lacrosse ran the floor showing onlooking fans what they can do with a stick and a ball in an exhibition of skill and minor league grit. Also in attendance were youth lacrosse players recognized for their talents by the Shamrocks organizaton. The Shamrocks alumni, also in attendance on a action-packed evening, awarded bursaries to those recognized players going onto collegiate play and scholastic endeavours.
