SOS was significantly impacted by the wildfire and has not been in operation since May, making this funding even more important to their organization’s work in the Fort McMurray community.

SOS helps prevent, intervene and support individuals of all ages who are dealing with life challenges. Through counselling, child and youth programming and 24-hour crisis support, SOS will work to ensure the people of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo have the tools and resources to cope effectively with crisis.

The Oilers Foundation continues the Oilers legacy of giving back by contributing its resources and financial support to charitable organizations that serve the communities of Northern Alberta. With a focus on education, health and wellness for youth in Oil Country, the EOCF is dedicated to building strong, vibrant and safe communities by demonstrating philanthropic leadership.
