ROYALS’ GRANT ARMSTRONG HIRED AS BRANDON WHEAT KINGS GM

Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals today announced that Assistant General Manager, Player Personnel Grant Armstrong has been hired by the Brandon Wheat Kings as their General Manager.

 

Armstrong, a native of North Vancouver, BC has been a part of the Royals’ organization for the past four seasons. Armstrong was originally hired by Victoria in 2012 as the club’s Director of Player Personnel before he was promoted to Assistant General Manager, Player Personnel in the summer of 2014.

 

“Grant has been an important part of what we’ve been building in Victoria,” said General Manager Cameron Hope. “The effort, intelligence and integrity he brings to his job is well recognized in hockey circles and he is very deserving of this opportunity in Brandon. The Royals’ organization wishes Grant all the best in his new role with the Wheat Kings.”
