ictoria, BC- The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce a restructuring within the Hockey Operations Department following the departure of Grant Armstrong, who served as the Royals’ Assistant GM, Player Personnel, to the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Enio Sacilotto moves from assistant coach to the team’s Director of Prospect Development and WHL Scout. Sacilotto will play a key role in the development of the Royals’ prospects that comprise the team’s 50-man list.

“We have confidence that our staff and structure will allow our hockey operations departments to continue their top-end work of identifying players,” President and General Manager Cameron Hope said. “The crucial area we needed to fill with an experienced and knowledgeable member of our team was in prospect development.

“The strength of our organization lies with the individuals who work for us. Nowhere has this been more evident than within our coaching staff. These attributes have allowed us to move Enio into this important role, while secure in the knowledge that Dave Lowry will continue his exemplary work with our current roster.”

A search is currently underway for a new assistant coach to serve under Head Coach Dave Lowry.
