Medicine Hat, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers are pleased to announce the signing of defenceman Dalton Gally to a Standard WHL Player Agreement on Tuesday.

Last season the New Braunfels, Texas native played in the North American Hockey League for the Austin Bruins, appearing in 50 games, recording 7 points (3G, 4A) to go along with 50 penalty minutes. Gally stands in at 6’5 and 232 pounds and will bring a physical presence to the Tigers blue line this season.

“Dalton has been a pleasant surprise at camp,” added Senior Director of Player Development Darren Kruger, “He will add some stability to our defensive core. We would like to welcome him and his family to the Tigers organization.”

The Tigers kick off pre-season on the weekend taking on their rival Lethbridge Hurricanes on neutral soil in Coaldale and Taber Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets are available at the door for 7:00pm puck drop.
