Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals welcome the Vancouver Giants to Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. for the team’s lone home pre-season contest, presented by GoodLife Fitness.
EXPLOSIVE OFFENCE: So far this pre-season, the Royals have scored a total of 14 goals in three games, for an average of 4.67 markers per contest. Victoria has tallied the second most goals in the WHL and trail only the Swift Current Broncos, who have scored 17 markers in four games.
DANTE’S INFERNO: Victoria’s Dante Hannoun currently sits tied for second in WHL Pre-Season scoring, and is tied for first for most goals. The Royals’ forward has appeared in two contests during the pre-season where he has collected six points (4g-2a). Hannoun opened his pre-season with a hat-trick against the Kamloops Blazers last Friday, and registered another three-point night (1g-2a) versus the Kelowna Rockets on Saturday.
