(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club this morning announced that international receiver Terrell Sinkfield has signed with the team.
Sinkfield was most recently in camp with the Minnesota Vikings and spent two previous seasons in the CFL with Toronto (five games, 2014) and Hamilton (22 games, 2014-2015).
“Terrell is an experienced and seasoned receiver who brings both skill and depth to our offence,” said Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono. “He has excellent speed which is critical to our game and he can also be a key contributor on special teams.”
The Minnesota native and Northern Iowa graduate enjoyed a standout campaign in Hamilton last season hauling in 69 passes for 1,030 yards and six majors over 15 games.
The club also announced that international defensive back Jeremy Harris has been added to the practice roster.
The Lions return to the practice field today as they prepare for a key West Division road tilt versus the Edmonton Eskimos on Friday night.
The next BC Lions home game is Saturday, October 1 versus the Ottawa RedBlacks presented by Tim Hortons
