Kamloops, BC – After going 1-3 last weekend against the Okanagan College Coyotes, the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack baseball team are in for another tough weekend (Sept 24th -25Th) ahead.
The team is heading down to Vancouver for four games against the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds. The WolfPack are 0-4 against UBC this fall. Game times are 1pm and 3pm on Saturday, September 24th and 11am and 1pm on Sunday the 25th.
“They’re a good team but so are we,” says second baseman Brad Bitz, “they came into our house and took four games and now we want to go to their house and do the same.”
“I think it’s going to take a new level of focus (to beat UBC),” says outfielder Isiah McDonald, “we didn’t play poorly last time, we didn’t hit as well as we could’ve of. We’re going to be a better team this weekend.”
The ‘Pack have been struggling early on this fall but are looking forward to having a better weekend against UBC. After a hard week of practice, they want to come home with four wins.
