(Halifax, N.S.) – Dalhousie University presents our G2 Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 25, 2016.


Colleen Wilson, Cross Country

Fifth-year runner Colleen Wilson is this week’s G2 Female Athlete of the Week.


Wilson won her second consecutive AUS race Saturday afternoon.


In Saturday’s Université de Moncton Cross Country Classic, Wilson led the Tigers to their second consecutive team win in as many weekends. She completed the course in a time of 22:43.70, more than 45 seconds ahead of the next CIS competitor.


An oceanography student, Wilson is from Ancaster, O.N.

TJ Leopold, Soccer

Third-year keeper TJ Leopold is this week’s G2 Male Athlete of the Week.


Leopold led the Tigers to a win and a tie this past weekend earning two shutouts.


In Saturday’s 0-0 tie with UPEI, Leopold made six saves to keep the Tigers alive in the match. He made another two saves in Sunday’s 2-0 win over the Moncton Aigles Bleus. He currently boasts a .857 save percentage.


A native of Bedford, N.S., Leopold is an engineering student.
