Swift Current, SK – The Swift Current Broncos announced Thursday that the Arizona Coyotes have signed Broncos forward Lane Pederson to a three-year entry-level contract.
“We are very proud of Lane and his accomplishments,” said Director of Player Personnel Manny Viveiros. “He has worked very hard to earn this and we congratulate him for getting a deal done with the Coyotes.”
The 19-year-old native of Saskatoon, SK was acquired from the Red Deer Rebels via a mid-season trade last year and registered 21 points (6g-15a) in 35 games with the Broncos.
Pederson has collected nine points (2g-7a) to go along with a plus-4 rating in seven games with the Broncos this season For his WHL career, Pederson has recorded 84 points (30g-54a) in 144 games played. Pederson attended the Coyotes rookie camp this season.
