To recognize October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Major Midget League (MML) will be lacing up in the league’s inaugural “Pink in the Rink” day. On Saturday, October 29, 2016 all MML teams will wear pink laces and tape their sticks pink in support of breast cancer awareness.
Teams will be accepting donations in venue for local charities benefiting cancer research on behalf of the league. Funds raised will support vital cancer research, education, health promotion and patient support programs.

The MML was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17 year olds an opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level and be developed for the next level of hockey. These teams have an opportunity each year to compete for the TELUS Cup, Canada’s National Midget Championship.
