Toronto, ON – The Canadian Hockey League today announced the Week 13 edition of the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2016-17 season.  The weekly rankings of the CHL’s Top-10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.

Once again, the Regina Pats hold down the No. 1 ranking in the country. This past weekend, the Pats defeated the Swift Current Broncos before dropping an overtime contest to the Saskatoon Blades. The Pats have been ranked among the CHL’s best for 12 weeks this season

One week after moving into the third slot, the Everett Silvertips slide back to the No. 4 position where they previously resided. After edging the Vancouver Giants in a shootout, the Silvertips fell to the Portland Winterhawks before rebounding with a win over the Spokane Chiefs this week. The Silvertips have been ranked among the CHL’s best for 10 weeks this season.

The Prince George Cougars slip to the No. 8 rung on the CHL ladder this week. After splitting a weekend series with the Seattle Thunderbirds, the Cougars knocked off the visiting Tri-City Americans this week. The Cougars have been ranked among the CHL’s top clubs for 112 weeks this season.

The Medicine Hat Tigers earn an honourable mention to round out WHL representation in the CHL Top 10.
