Vancouver, B.C. – Ty Ronning scored the winning goal in overtime for the second consecutive game, and the Vancouver Giants beat the Everett Silvertips 5-4 on Tuesday night at the Langley Events Centre. Eetu Tuulola put Everett ahead early in the first period, capitalizing on a turnover in the Vancouver zone to give the visitors the lead. Semchuk put the G-Men ahead, scoring just 14 seconds later from the right wing after a pretty saucer pass from Malm.
Dominic Zwerger scored two straight goals, one on a power play, to even the score in the second period before Connor Dewar gave the Silvertips the lead again, tallying his fifth goal of the campaign. Malm tied the game again in the late stages of the stanza, firing the puck past Everett goalie Mario Petit from the right circle.

Everett out shot Vancouver 34-26. Vancouver was 1-for-4 on the power play.
