MONTREAL, Que. and TORONTO, Ont. – Team Canada will be playing in the late quarter-final at the Bell Centre in Montreal on Jan. 2.

With two wins under its belt, Team Canada will close its preliminary-round action at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto by facing Latvia on Dec. 29, and the United States on Dec. 31, before crossing over to Montreal to begin the championship round with the 8 p.m. quarter-final at the Bell Centre.

“The fan support for Team Canada has been outstanding, with a capacity crowd for the opener against Russia, and a sellout for the New Year’s Eve game against the U.S.,” said Denis Hainault, executive director of the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship. “Great seats are available for fans wanting to support our national team on Thursday, and when they arrive in Montreal for the quarter-final.”
