TRU Interim Head Coach Mike Hawkins:

On Game:

“Tough one tonight. We controlled the entire first set until we hit 22, then we showed our inexperience and got tight instead of having the confidence to close out. We deserved that first set, and after that loss, we had a tough time bouncing back. We fought hard in the third but in the end, couldn’t close out. These are the lessons this group needs to learn, but for us to be a successful program, we need to start applying these lessons to our matches.”

On Play of Daniel Eikland Rod:

“Danny played well coming off the bench. He provided a spark offensively and from the service line”

The WolfPack will continue their four game road trip as they visit Langley, BC next weekend (Jan 13-14) to face the Trinity Western University Spartans. TRU has the bye the following week (Jan 21-22).

Calgary will visit the MacEwan University Griffins next weekend.

Next home action for the WolfPack will be Friday, January 27th when the University of Regina Cougars pay a visit to the Warner Rentals Court at the Tournament Capital Centre.  Game time will be 7:45 pm.
