Vikes capture title at UVic Indoor Field Hockey Tournament

VICTORIA – For the third time in four years the UVic Vikes women’s field hockey team has been crowned champion of the UVic Indoor Tournament that took place January 21 and 22 at the McKinnon Gym.

The Vikes capped off a successful weekend by beating the WildCats Vets 5-0 in the championship game.

Fifth-year Vike Amanda Kurianowicz scored two goals in the game, while Delaney Booker, Jamie Emery and Lindsay Cole each added a goal of their own.
