SEATTLE – Trinity Western’s Regan Yee (South Hazelton, B.C.) finishes third in the mile at the University of Washington Invitational in her first indoor meet of the season Saturday at Dempsey Indoor.
Yee posted a time of 4:35.43 in the mile, which was only bettered by the Adidas-sponsored Brie Felnagle, who set the Dempsey Indoor record with a time of 4:27.27, and Nike-sponsored Alexa Efraimson, who was under the previous meet record with a time of 4:30.49. Based on her mile time converting to the 1500m, Yee earned automatic qualification for the U SPORTS national championships.
