The Portland Winterhawks (28-21-1-2) defeated the Everett Silvertips (30-11-8-2) 6-5 in a road contest played in Everett Friday to earn their sixth consecutive victory.

McKenzie netted two goals, including his team-leading 34th goal of the season, and added two assists. With a goal and three assists, Glass extended his point streak to five games with 13 points in that span including three multi-point nights. Defenseman Caleb Jones also extended his point streak to seven games, while Keoni Texeira earned his 100th career point with his assist tonight.

The Hawks will now return to Portland for Banner Bank Mascot Night where they will host the Seattle Thunderbirds at 7 pm. Tomorrow’s game, the team’s fourth in five nights, will be televised on Portland’s CW.
