McMorris and Parrot Top the Big Air Podium at X Games Norway

Canadian riders seem to be enjoying their trip to Europe as Mark McMorris (Regina, SK) capped off his season with a gold medal at X Games Norway on Saturday night. Max Parrot (Bromont, QC) finished off his impressive season in Big Air with another podium performance, taking the second place behind McMorris. Norway’s Torgeir Bergrem rounded off the podium in third.

Oslo played host to yet another duel between the Canadian riders, a single point separating McMorris and Parrot from 1st and 2nd. With barely a couple of minutes left in the Big Air Jam, McMorris landed a backside triple cork 1620 switch backside triple cork 1620 to finish with a combined score of 85.00. After successfully defending his Big Air title at X Games Aspen, Parrot landed is own impressive array of tricks, throwing down a cab triple cork 1620 and frontside triple cork 1440 to finish with an 84.00.

Spencer O’Brien (Courtenay, BC) finished in 5th in the womens Big Air final.
