The gold medal game against Powell River was a nail biter.  A Ridge Meadows goal in the first period was matched by a Powell River goal in the 3rd.

Regulation time ended in a tie and a 5 minute 4 on 4 overtime period ended with no goals.  In a 5 player shootout, Ridge Meadows scored two goals and their goalie fended off all of Powell River’s shots.
