Belles of the Brawl improve to 2-0 after road win vs. Port Scandalous

April 30, 2017, Victoria BC: More than 100 points separated the teams in the Belles of the Brawl’s win over Port Scandalous in Sequim, Washington Saturday night (April 29th). The 253-135 victory improves the team to 2-0 on the season. Belles of the Brawl Co-Captain, Toombstone, says strong blocker walls contributed to the win.

“We played a great game with Port Scandalous, both teams fought hard. Their jammers were wily and fierce, but our blockers held tight and kept them back as much we could. They were gracious hosts, as always, and we look forward to the next time we meet!”

Toombstone also gives credit to her team’s MVP Blocker (PileDriver) and Jammer (Bony Banshee) for particularly strong performances in the win. MVPs on the Port Scandalous side were Misty Meaner (Jammer) and Amberetta Pistol (Blocker).
