The South Island Royals of the BC Major Midget League (MML) are pleased to announce their coaching staff for the 2017-2018 season.

Head coach Adam Geric (Victoria) is returning behind the bench. He will be joined by assistant coaches: Brad Cook (Victoria), Scott Hawthorne (Saanichton) and Liam Sproule (Victoria). Geric was recently an assistant coach at the BC Hockey Male U16 BC Cup and has previously played in the BC Hockey League (BCHL), Western Hockey League (WHL) and professionally in Australia. They join general manager Sam McMullen (Victoria) on the South Island staff.

The MML was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17 year olds an opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level and be developed for the next level of hockey. These teams have an opportunity each year to compete for the TELUS Cup, Canada’s National Midget Championship.
