Sunday will feature Final Round Qualifying Singles Action

Four girls singles and four boys singles matches will determine the last 4 spots in the each of the Main Singles Draws which begins on Monday.

 

The girls singles will feature 6 Americans and 2 Canadians, while on the boys side it is 5 Americans and 3 Canadians vying for the last places in the Main Draw.

 

Main Draw singles Action will see Preston Brown of the USA as the top seed and  Victoria’s Aaron Diemer, presently ranked around 660 in the junior world rankings will be one of the top 4 seeds on the boys side.

 

In the Girls Draw, Jessie Gong of Vancouver last October’s Victoria International Junior event winner will be out to see if she can make it two titles in a row against tough female competition from all over North America.

 

Play will take place all week at the Panorama Recreation Centre with the both finals to go Saturday, June 3.  There will be on court Bleachers seating available for viewing starting Thursday, June 1st.
