The tech world is teaming up with tennis at Rogers Cup presented by National Bank this summer as the first-ever Tech and Tennis Day presented by ESET lands at Aviva Centre in Toronto on August 10, 2017. Set to feature a morning of tech talk followed by third-round action courtesy of the best women’s tennis players in the world, Tech and Tennis Day will bring together some of the top names from the technology, media, and sports fields to discuss the role of technology in sports.

“For the inaugural Tech and Tennis Day presented by ESET, we are excited to bring some of the brightest women tech leaders together with the world’s best women’s tennis players for a day of learning and networking,” said Costa Kladianos, director of information technology, Tennis Canada. “From our amazing keynote speakers to the industry leaders on our panels discussing hot tech topics like engagement, analytics, and tech security, this day will have something for every tech, digital, and marketing professional.”

Taking place in the 125th anniversary year of the women’s Rogers Cup tournament, the conference will include discussions on women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields and feature several accomplished female speakers. Hosted by popular TV host Amber Mac, keynote speakers include Michele Romanow from Dragon’s Den, chief strategy officer at Diply, Kirstine Stewart, and renowned MBA professor and tech venture capitalist Chris Haroun.

There will also be several panelists to discuss topics like the use of analytics in sports and other industries, and the role of technology in engaging customers and clients.
