Canada’s women’s team has hit the road for its first tournament of 2017 – the Pan Am Cup, to be held in Lima and Cañete, Peru from June 17 to 25.
Part of the team’s preparation includes a friendly match against the U.S. women’s team, 2016 Olympic bronze medalists, in California on June 13.
The final Canadian roster for the Pan Am Cup has not been confirmed, but a long list of athletes is below.
The teams in Pool A – Dominican Republic, Peru, Canada, Chile, Cuba and Trinidad & Tobago – will compete at Eduardo Dibos Coliseum in Lima during the preliminary pool play. The teams in Pool B – Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, United States and Venezuela – will play at Lolo Fernández Coliseum in Cañete.
Tonight’s match against the U.S. will take place at 7 p.m. PT (10 pm Eastern time) in San Juan Capistrano, California. The web cast will be at the following link:
