The Jr. Shamrocks got back in the win column Sunday as they held on for a 15-14 victory over the Burnaby Lakers at Copeland Arena.  The Rocks held period leads of 6-4 and 11-10 on the way to the win.  Braylon Lumb and Brad McCulley each had the hat trick and 1 assist but team captain had a 9-point night on a pair of goals and 7 assists.  Marshal King added 2 goals and 4 helpers and Ben Preston added a goal and 5 assists with singles coming from newcomer Cameron Garlin Griffin Wilson, Nick Murray and Brian Robb.  Will Kinnaird went the distance in goal to get the victory.

The result, coupled with Langley’s win over Nanaimo leaves the Shamrocks tied for fourth spot with the Port Coquitlam Saints who hold a game in hand.  Victoria has just 4 games remaining in the regular season and next up is an all-island battle as the Nanaimo Timbermen come to town for a game this Tuesday, June 27 at 8:00 pm at the Q Centre.
