Burnaby scored early on in the first period on route to a 5-2 lead after the first period.
Victoria’s goal scorers in the first were Josh Fagan and Joe Resetarits. Fagan’s second of the playoffs came at 8:12 to tie the game at one, and Resetarits made it 5-2 in the final minute.
Sheldon Burns scored the opening goal of the second period, his third of the playoffs but surrendered the next five as Burnaby lead 10-3 after forty minutes.
The Lakers scored four more in the third period, but Victoria’s Paul Brebber scored his first of the playoffs with just over three minutes left and shorthanded to wrap up a 13-4 Burnaby win.
The Shamrocks welcomed Jon Harnett back into the lineup after missing the first two games of the series.
