5-3 Lions host the 5-1-1 Stamps Friday Night

(Vancouver) The BC Lions (5-3) return to BC Place this Friday at 7:30 pm to host the Calgary Stampeders (5-1-1) in a critical West Division showdown.

The Lions look to get back in the win column against a very talented Calgary team which is in second spot in the ultra-competitive West Division. While sitting at 5-3 on the year, the Leos need to put together key wins against division rivals as the season nears the midway point if they want to have a shot at a home playoff game in November.

Quarterback Jonathon Jennings should have a full complement of playmakers back in the line-up versus the Stamps which means a high-octane offensive attack, but they will need an equally determined effort from the defence against Calgary pivot Bo Levi Mitchell.

It’s a Friday night brawl and it’s a big one as the Lions and Stamps collide under the lights at BC Place.
