Vancouver, B.C. – One week from today the Vancouver Giants will begin Training Camp at the Ladner Leisure Centre. Registration for all players takes place from 2-3 PM and the first of three ice sessions that day begins at 3:45 PM. Games will take place throughout the day on Friday and Saturday and the annual Quinn/Howe Top Prospect’s Game takes place on Sunday at 1:00 PM. Training Camp will provide fans with a first-hand glimpse at the next wave of Giants, including forward Justin Sourdif (selected third overall in 2017) and defenceman Bowen Byram (selected third overall in 2016). Fan favorites like New York Rangers prospect Ty Ronning, 20-goal scorer James Malm and newly acquired 20-year-old Brad Morrison will also all be in attendance.

“We’re very excited to get things started,” said Giants head coach Jason McKee. “Our players have worked very hard this summer, they understand our expectations and our staff is anticipating an extremely competitive Training Camp to start the 2017-18 season.”
