The Prince George Spruce Kings are excited to announce their leadership group in front of the start of the 2017/2018 season.
19 year old third year Spruce King Kyle Johnson has been named Team Captain. The native of Port Moody exemplifies what it is to be a Spruce King through his hard work on and off the ice. He is also a great young man who is focused on his goals and sets a great example for his teammates.
20 year old third year Spruce King Jarod Hovde, and 19 year old second year Spruce King Ben Brar will be Assistant Captains. 18 year old second year Spruce King Ben Poisson and 20 year old Chays Ruddy will split the the third Assistant Captain position.
Johnson, Hovde, Brar, Poisson, Ruddy and the rest of their Spruce Kings teammates begin the BCHL regular season this Friday and Saturday Sept 8th and 9th with their home opener weekend versus the Chilliwack Chiefs. Game time both nights is 7:00pm at Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
