WolfPack Baseball Win Second Straight Against Dominicans


Kamloops, BC—Make it two wins in a row for the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack baseball team in their exhibition series with a team from the Dominican Republic.

Playing at Norbrock Stadium on Thursday (Sept 14), the WolfPack downed Universidad Technologica de Santiago 13-5.

Dillon Ferguson (Kirkland, Washington)   was the winning pitcher going five innings giving up two hits, one run, one walk and striking out five.

Rookie Jacob Bromley (Cranbrook, BC) was 2 for 3 at the plate with two runs batted in. Second year player Adam Filmon (Winnipeg, MB) was 2 for 2 with a home run.

The two teams will play again Friday (Sept 15) at 6 pmSaturday (Sept 16) at 6 pm with the series winding up Sunday (Sept 17) at noon.

The WolfPack also meet Okanagan College in a douableheader on Saturday (Sept 16).
