Calgary, AB—The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack men’s soccer team saw their unbeaten streak extend to six as they wound up tying the host Mount Royal University Cougars 2-2 in Canada West play on Saturday (Sept 23).

The WolfPack led the match 1-0 at the half and gave up two goals in the second 45 minutes.




TRU got goals from Maxime Fieujean (2nd year, defender, Servas, France) made his regular season debut and scored the match’s opening game.    Jan Pirrates-Glacsmacher (1st year, defender, Barcelona, Spain) had the other goal for the Pack who need that goal late to tie.


Alex Ram (1st year, keeper, Leicester, England) made his first Canada West start and made two saves.

The WolfPack picked up a number of cards including a red card to Ryan Glanville (5th year, midfield, Williams Lake, BC) in the 20 th minute and Fieujean in the 52nd minute.
