Canadian players bring home awards from NORCECA qualifiers

    Canada wins individual awards at both the men’s and women’s NORCECA qualifiers

    Canada picked up seven awards at this past weekend’s women’s NORCECA World Championship Qualifier in Langley, BC, and two awards at a similar men’s event in Colorado Springs, USA.

    The women finished first overall in the four-team tournament; and the men were third of 10 teams.

    Up-and-comer Alexa Gray of Calgary, Alberta, was awarded three honours, including Most Valuable Player.
