ROYALS’ LISTED PLAYER LUKE REID NAMED TO HOCKEY CANADA’S UNDER-17 ROSTER

Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals are proud to announce that listed defenceman Luke Reid has been named to Hockey Canada’s Under-17 Team for the 2017 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

 

The annual tournament takes place from November 5th – 11th in Dawson Creek and Fort St. John, BC. The tournament will feature three Canadian teams – Canada Black, Canada Red and Canada White. The rosters for the three squads will be finalized at a later date.

 

Reid was Victoria’s second round pick, selected 27th overall at the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.

 

Victoria will continue their season long seven-game road trip tomorrow night against the Edmonton Oil Kings. The game is slated to start at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB.
