Two officiating workshops planned for Victoria

Two officiating certification workshops will be held in Victoria to train officials for the upcoming BC Scotties.

People who complete the level 1 course will be able to become Game Observers and Time Clock Operators. People who complete level 2 as well as complete an exam and gain some practical experience can become Provincial Game Umpires.

Victoria Curling Club will be hosting a level 1 and 2 officiating workshop from Nov. 18-19, 2017 in preparation for hosting the 2018 Scotties BC Women’s Curling Championship, presented by Best Western. The championship takes place Jan. 2-7.

The level 1 or 2 officiating courses cost $40.00 and include course material. If you have already taken the level 1 you can attend for $10.00 as a refresher.
