Royal Return – Victoria blueliner Jared Freadrich registered a goal and an assist against his former team tonight. In 67 games with the Pats (2015-17), Freadrich earned a total of 21 points (5g-16a) before being traded to the Red Deer Rebels.


Hot Streak – Multiple Royals extended their point streaks in the contest. Victoria’s Matthew Phillips has recorded 27 points (10g-17a) in 12 games so far this year and is one match away from tying the Royals’ record for longest point streak which was set by Alex Forsberg (8g-14a) in the 2015-16 season. Igor Martynov (0g-3a) and Jared Legien (2g-1a) have registered points in three consecutive contests.

WHL First – Pats’ defenseman Marco Creta, a native of Oak Bluff, MB recorded his first WHL marker in the final frame.
