UBC Men and Western Women take Championship banners at the Canadian University Rowing Championship

The UBC Thunderbirds played host to 277 student-athlete rowers and 18 Universities on Burnaby Lake for the 2017 Canadian University Rowing Championship. The UBC Men and Western Women successfully defended their Championship titles in this weekend of exciting racing.

“We had a great mix of young guys and veteran talent and they were able to
find the right focus at the right time and we got the right result under a pressure
