Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals will face off against the Lethbridge Hurricanes, who are making their lone visit of the regular season, on Tuesday, November 21st at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
RECORD SEEKING: Royals’ 20-year-old forward Tyler Soy currently sits at 260 points (123g-137a) in his career and is only four points from the all-time franchise record for most career points. The record is held by former Royal and Chilliwack Bruin Brandon Magee, who totalled 264 points (113g-151a) over 318 games.
100 GOALS: Last Tuesday, Victoria became the first team in the WHL to record 100 markers. So far this season, Regan Nagy (17), Matthew Phillips (16) and Ryan Peckford (12) are leading the way in goal scoring for the Royals. Victoria sits second in the Canadian Hockey League in the goals for category only behind the Ontario Hockey League’s Sarnia Sting (107).
