Royals Make More Trades This Time With Hitmen


The Victoria Royals have acquired Russian-born import forward Andrei Grishakov (1999) from the Calgary Hitmen in exchange for a third round draft pick in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.


This season, the native of Chelyabinsk, Russia, has taken part in 37 contests where he has tallied 26 points (11g-15a) along with 24 penalty minutes.


The 6-1, 200 lb forward, who is currently is in his second WHL season with the Hitmen, has recorded 61 points (22g-39a) to go along with 72 penalty minutes in 107 career WHL games.


Grishakov spent the 2015-16 season with Traktor Chelyabinsk Under-17 team of the Russian U-17 League and collected 45 points (21g-24a) in 32 games. That same season, he was called up to the Traktor Chelyabinsk Under-18 club, where he tallied four goals and five assists in four contests.


The 1999-born winger was selected by Calgary in the second round, 106th overall, at the 2016 CHL Import Draft.
