After Snowmass, the Canadian slopestyle and halfpipe ski teams compete at Mammoth Mountain from January 18 to 20 for what will be a decisive event for some athletes in both disciplines.
The FIS World Cup in Mammoth, California is the last stop before the final date of the Olympic selection period and the subsequent announcement of Team Canada’s freestyle ski roster. We’ll be in suspense as the event approaches and right up until virtually the last minute before knowing who gets an Olympic spot, since all freestyle disciplines will be competing this upcoming weekend.
