PRINCE GEORGE, BC– One of the most popular feature games in back! The Prince George Cougars Lumberjack night, presented by Peterbilt, is this Friday, February 9th, when they face the Kamloops Blazers at 7 pm.

It’s also Free Beer Night, courtesy of Labatt’s, as they will be giving away one beer (must be 19 + with valid ID) or Pepsi per person. The Cougars remind you to please drink responsibly.

The Cougars will be wearing specialty, revamped lumberjack jerseys and season ticket members will be automatically entered in a game worn jersey draw. Also, there will be a draw table on the concourse for all fans to enter; the winners from both of these draws will be invited down to ice level to select the jersey of their choice and watch the player sign it!  There will be a game worn jersey auction online that will go live after the game (ending two weeks later), with proceeds going to local non-profit groups.

That’s not all. Chainsaw carver Randy Gauthier will be on hand, starting at 12 pm, with two of his carvings up for grabs! Season ticket members will be entered in a draw to win one of his renowned carvings, and the other will be the prize for a silent auction, with proceeds going to local non-profit groups.

There will be plenty of lumberjack themed merchandise in the team store as well as a free lumberjack themed photo booth on the concourse.

Tickets are available at the TicketsNorth box office at the CN Centre, or online at
