Victoria – The Victoria Shamrocks announce that team Operations Manager, Jason Sperling has accepted a position with the BC Lions. “The Shamrocks have been my extended family for three years and it’s with mixed emotions I say goodbye, but welcome my new opportunity,” said Sperling. “I will be forever grateful to Jim Hartshorne and the organization. I thank all the fans, sponsors, volunteers and friends for their amazing support over the last few seasons.”

Jason has done exemplary work for the club in his three years with us; I’m sorry to lose him, and I wish him and his family all the best in Vancouver.”
Since Jason joined the Shamrocks at the end of 2015, season ticket numbers have reached an all-time high, along with sponsorship and social media presence rising dramatically; Jason’s work to get players and coaches out visiting schools and attending non-profit events has greatly increased the Shamrocks organization’s visibility throughout the community.
