The Victoria City Rowing Club is proud to announce that two Junior Men and fives Junior Female rowers have been invited to Rowing Canada Aviron’s Stage 2 Assessment Camp for the Junior National team.

VCRC will be represented on the Junior Men’s side by Tai Kilpatrick and Spencer Thomas. The Junior Females meanwhile will consist of Meridith Bonneau, Aislinn Hill, Sierra Inglis, Paige Letham, and Danae McCulloch.

The Assessment Camp will take place on Saturday, April 14th and Sunday, April 15th at Burnaby Lake. In total, 38 athletes were invited to the Western Canada Assessment Camp, with 19 rowers for each of the Junior Male and Junior Female teams. Western Canada rowers earned invitations based on their performance at the Elk Lake Spring Regatta that took place early this month.

Following the Stage 2 Assessment Camp, select athletes will be invited to Stage 3 of the selection process from June 26 to 30, 2018 at a venue to be named in Ontario.
