Achieving 1st place in individual events were Hillary English (JO7-Bars) and Cheyenne Choo (JO1-Vault and Floor).
Nine JO1 team members attended. Everyone achieved an average of 2 Top 10 placements. “We are so very proud of these young girls who are just starting in the program. They performed their routines with confidence and pride. This was their first competition ever. This was where they learned what it is like to compete. We are excited that they did so well. They all had a wonderful time. That sets them up well to continue with the sport and move up to the next level.”
Gabrielle Marshman, Level 3, had a very consistent competition to start her season. Her best placing was a 10th place for vault, one of her favorite events.
Rounding out the team were two of our JO Level 7s, Hillary English and Trystinna Bailey. English topped the podium for her bars routine and placed top 10 in all the other events placing 6th All Around. Bailey placed top 10 in all four events placing 7th All Around.
Next up for our JO Team is the Twisters Invitational which takes place April 23rd to April 25th in Abbotsford, BC.
