The Everett Silvertips defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds 4-0 Saturday at Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett in Game 5 of the team’s first round playoff series.
Everett wins the series 4-1 and will advance to the second round of the playoffs.
The Silvertips got goals from Riley Sutter in the first period, Ondrej Vala and Patrick Bajkov in the second period and an empty-net goal from Connor Dewar in the third period.
Everett outshot Seattle 46-36 in the game.
Seattle goalie Liam Hughes had 42 saves on 45 shots.
Everett goalie Carter Hart had 36 saves.
